Tucker WRLD Animal Sanctuary was founded with a heartfelt purpose: to provide a safe haven for dogs abandoned in high-kill shelters. Our journey began in memory of Tucker, my childhood soul dog, and is dedicated to honoring my father, whose spirit guides us in this mission.
Every dog we rescue has its own story, and it is our privilege to give them unconditional love and a shot at life. We believe that every creature deserves love and care, and through our efforts, we aim to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. Our Story
Welcome to Tucker WRLD, a sanctuary born from a story of love, loss, and legacy. Our journey begins with Tucker, a loyal and spirited dog who left a paw print on my heart, shaping my path from the moment my father rescued him when I was just nine years old. Tucker’s companionship throughout my childhood and into my adulthood taught me about resilience, joy, and the profound bond between humans and animals.
After my father's passing in 2015 at the age of 51, Tucker's presence became even more significant, providing comfort and a sense of continuity during a time of immense grief. When Tucker passed away on August 8th, 2023, at the venerable age of 17, the impact of his loss inspired a new beginning rather than an end. It became clear that his legacy should not be confined to memories alone but should serve as a beacon for change and hope.
Tucker WRLD is more than just an animal sanctuary; it is a fulfillment of a promise made to two irreplaceable souls who profoundly shaped my life. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs that have been overlooked and undervalued, ensuring they too have a chance to make someone's life a little brighter.
